A large part of infrastructure security, whether public or private, is based on video surveillance systems, and a breach of their protocols leads to serious consequences.

There are several countries that have banned certain manufacturers of video surveillance systems from their market, such as the United States which, with Section 889 of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act, prohibits government contractors from supplying the federal government with telecommunications or video surveillance equipment, systems or services (or an essential component thereof) manufactured or supplied by some of the largest manufacturers and their subsidiaries and affiliates.

• Comelit’s product components are NDAA (learn more) and GDPR compliant;

• Comelit cameras and video recorders are ONVIF compliant (Open Network Video Interface Forum), ensuring compatibility with other manufacturers’ products.

Furthermore, to ensure that there are no weaknesses in the infrastructure, our platform is regularly subjected to vulnerability tests. Should the Comelit infrastructure be damaged for any reason, it can be rebuilt 99% automatically, minimising human intervention and error.
