«We are particularly pleased to have completed a transaction of significant strategic value, which enables us to substantially strengthen the Group’s presence in Germany, Europe’s largest market and a country that is particularly receptive to security technologies such as those developed and manufactured by Comelit – said Edoardo Barzasi, CEO of Comelit Group – It has been an operation that required considerable time and effort, but today it allows us to increase the Group’s revenues in Germany to approximately €28 million, making the country our second-largest market after Italy.»

The six months between the signing of the agreement and the completion of the acquisition were dedicated to the preparation of the next phase of Ritto’s development.

«During this period, we worked to gain full control of the supply chain, define the operational roadmap for the coming months, conduct in-depth supplier audits and establish new agreements – Barzasi continued – We also completed all legal and contractual requirements, integrated Ritto into our management systems, and developed new commercial and service tools for installers, including a new website and a product configurator. Finally, we migrated the app to Comelit’s cloud infrastructure.»

At the same time, Comelit Group recruited and hired 15 new professionals in Germany, with expertise ranging from field technical support and logistics to technical sales consultancy.

«I would like to thank the entire Comelit team for the outstanding work carried out and for the great care devoted to every single activity involved in this project.» the CEO added.
«We are now ready for this new challenge – Barzasi concluded – Our goal is to integrate Comelit’s technologies into Ritto’s German-made door entry systems and progressively renew the Ritto product portfolio with the most innovative technologies developed by our Group»
