Bergamo, December 2, 2024 – Comelit Group S.p.A., a leading company in the security sector, is pleased to announce the appointment of Francesco Franchini as Deputy General Manager. This significant appointment reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening its market position and is part of a broader strategic plan focused on continuity and managerial development.

Francesco Franchini brings with him thirty years of experience in sales, marketing, and general management. He spent 26 years at the multinational group Somfy, where he held increasingly senior general management roles, eventually serving as Vice President of the Central Europe business area. Franchini brings to Comelit a wealth of international and multidisciplinary experience. His leadership skills and deep understanding of global markets will play a key role in supporting Comelit’s ongoing path of growth and innovation—ensuring qualified, continuous oversight of operational areas, while also enhancing the company’s ability to respond swiftly and effectively to the opportunities and challenges of an ever-evolving market.

Reporting directly to CEO Edoardo Barzasi, Franchini will immediately join Comelit’s Board of Directors, working closely with top management to lead the company toward new achievements and support its growth strategy. His appointment to the Board marks a further step in strengthening Comelit’s governance structure, in support of sustainable, long-term growth.
