On Egypt’s Mediterranean coast, New El Alamein City is becoming a benchmark for next generation living, thanks to residential developments designed to enhance comfort and well-being.
In this context, DB Advanced Communication System, a leading partner in Egypt, has chosen Comelit video door entry systems for three major developments, relying on a solution that is reliable, elegant and truly scalable.
The Gate Towers
Among the most recent projects in New El Alamein, The Gate Towers stand out for their privileged seafront location overlooking the Mediterranean and for a concept that integrates residential spaces, services and an internationally appealing commercial area.
The complex consists of two 44-storey towers and includes 669 residential units of various types, as well as retail spaces. Rooftop panoramic swimming pools, cinema, spa and gyms complete an offering designed for high-end clientele.
To ensure an access experience consistent with its premium positioning, DB Advanced Communication System selected Comelit video door entry systems, appreciated for their advanced features and design suited to luxury residential environments. The project includes the installation of 12 3one6 Sense entrance panels and 2,230 Maxi monitors, serving apartments and commercial units.
The 3one6 Sense entrance panels, thanks to CapSense technology, recognize inputs with a simple touch and support accessibility for visually impaired users through integrated Braille lettering. Maxi monitors complete the experience with a minimalist aesthetic and an intuitive interface, enhancing everyday interaction while maintaining stylistic coherence with high-end interiors.
The Alamein North Edge Towers
Developed by City Edge Developments, the North Edge Towers represent a strategic element in the evolution of New El Alamein as a top-tier tourist destination. Sea views, infinity pools and international-standard services define a residential ecosystem focused on comfort, leisure and relaxation, within a context designed to be complete and self-sufficient.
The four towers of lot LD01 include more than 690 apartments. Once again, DB Advanced Communication System chose Comelit video door entry systems, combining quality and reliability for a large-scale installation.
A total of 17 3one6 Sense HD entrance panels and 760 Maxi monitors were installed in apartments and commercial spaces. Given the size of the system, Comelit IP technology was selected for the external entrance panels, while the existing wiring was used for the indoor monitors. The result is an efficient, high-performance hybrid system, perfectly integrated into the building infrastructure.
The ease of installation of the 2-wire video door entry system is enhanced by the advanced features and high scalability of IP video door entry, which places no limits on the number of devices or distances involved. This configuration makes it possible to manage simultaneous calls from multiple entrance panels with crystal-clear audio quality, while also simplifying integration with other security systems already present in the complex.
Latin District
The Latin District draws inspiration from Mediterranean style, reinterpreted in a contemporary way with large green areas. The project spans almost 2 million square metres and includes 229 buildings with a total of 11,656 residential units, within an urban layout designed to open onto different views, from the lake to various landscape features. Services and recreational areas complete the proposal, designed to encourage social interaction and well-being.
Here too, DB Advanced Communication System decided to equip two major construction phases with Comelit systems, installing 2,956 Mini audio handsets, 132 Ikall entrance panels with digital call modules, and 3 telephone exchanges.
