Whistleblowing.

Report & Protect: Whistleblowing for Compliance and Business Ethics

Comelit Group S.p.A. promotes a safe, ethical and responsible working environment. In line with this approach, we offer employees, business partners, suppliers and others the opportunity to report incidents of corruption, fraud or other violations of internal rules through a guided path, which assists the reporter in making an accurate and organised report.

This is a confidential channel that allows violations to be reported without fear of retaliation with the aim of preventing situations of non-compliance and irregularities within the company, involving all stakeholders and the general public in the fight against illegality. It is essential that employees or other individuals have the opportunity to report such anomalies so that the company can promptly intervene and correct any illegal behaviour, such as corruption, fraud or other violations, that may harm the company itself and possibly, third parties.
How to report?

By clicking on the “Web Reporting” link, you access a reporting path hosted on a third-party server. Reports are received by the Head of Internal Audit. This person undertakes to handle the report confidentially and not to disclose the identity of the reporter without the reporter’s consent. Any personal data are processed in accordance with privacy regulations and kept for the time strictly necessary to handle the report. It is possible to open a dialogue with the reporter via the IT platform to complete the report with indirect assistance. This tool complements other reporting methods, such as sending a report by email, post or voicemail, as provided for in Legislative Decree 24/2023.

Reporting or denouncing wrongful conduct may entail practical and psychological challenges for the reporter. The report may be made anonymously, provided that it is well substantiated and detailed, allowing the report to be handled without further information on the reporter. In any case, the information will be treated confidentially. There are two types of protection for the reporter: managerial protection and technological protection.

As mentioned above, the report is handled confidentially, and the identity of the reporter will not be revealed without his or her consent.

In order to ensure technological security and the anonymity of the reporter, we have adopted a technological platform that allows the reporter to dialogue anonymously, without the possibility of tracing the origin of the report to the receiver or other parties.

During the verification and investigation of reports, the persons concerned may be informed of the ongoing activity. However, a report will not be sufficient grounds to initiate proceedings unless there is concrete evidence to support the allegations contained in the report.
