Invision UK Adds Comelit To Distribution Portfolio

Invision UK has signed an agreement with Comelit to provide a range of video entry and home automation solutions to professional installers.
Through its agreement Invision UK installers can now supply Comelit’s SimpleHome home automation solution which makes use of a multi-purpose device as a controller.
The user can decide what to control such as lights, automation, thermostats, energy consumption and door entry control. SimpleHome can also support a range of touchscreen devices or give the user control from remote locations via the Comelit App on a smartphone.
A core function of SimpleHome is video door entry with the facility for call recording by visitors and a touchscreen monitor with automatic display and command activation that is located in the house or apartment.
Safety is maximised with access control to manage entrances and exits using proximity keys and readers with generic MIFARE components. Additional resident security can be provided by easy integration with CCTV video surveillance.
Comelit’s ViP system represents the evolution of video entry technology and the services connected to it, with a new dimension linked to data transmission offering performance suited to modern residential and commercial applications whether it be an individual residence or a large complex.
Benefits include the ability to have an unlimited number of users, with simultaneous conversations and no distance limitations from a single backbone on a LAN.

Professional installers throughout the UK will be able to purchase Comelit products from Invision UK with immediate effect and dealer-training dates will be announced shortly.
