Comelit official technological partner for the new residential complex Uptown in Milan
Comelit is one of the protagonists of this important project, installing its security system in the new Smart District of “Cascina Merlata”.
Comelit brings its know-how about video entry systems in one of the most cutting-edge districts of Milan by participating in the building of Uptown complex in the area Afetr-Expo of Cascina Merlata. Thanks to the high performances of Vip system, Comelit was selected for the realization of two lots, composed by 480 flats, aiming at meeting specific needs of architects, designers and installators. Comelit is the perfect partner also for the prescription of great systems.
Comelit was chosen as the official technological partner in this prestigious project, inaugurated from 9th to 11th July 2017. On this occasion Comelit was the protagonist of the commercial launch of the first lot composed by 137 flats. This is only the first step because Uptown will see the realization of more than 2000 flats, a school district, a gym and a park. Comelit wanted therefore renew the collaboration and confirm itself as partner of the project.
In the occasion of the inauguration the sample three-room flat was presented. It was equipped with Comelit full optional technology: Vip video door entry systems, video checking alarm, home automation systems, audio distribution systems, everything remotely controlled by smartphone or tablet. The public was interested in ONE, the only one home automation device capable of managing lights, climate control, automations and scenarios by only one non-specialist multi-purpose panel.
A cutting-edge urban space intended to prevail in the italian architectural and technological scene thanks to eco & family friendly driving force. For two of the residences included in this complex, Comelit had represented the key solution in the realization of Vip video door entry system, home automation system, with video surveillance and anti-intrusion cameras (designed).
The project includes at present 480 flats connected by Comelit ViP system. Comelit’s aim is the acquisition of additional lots. A solution leading to the evolution of the classic door entry monitor thanks to the incomparable performances in terms of services and “audio and audio/video communication”. It’s suitable for both the single homes and for big complexs, both for new buildings and restructurings. This system is capable of serving an unlimited number of users, with simultaneous conversations and no distance restrictions.
In Vip system all devices are connected to a LAN, specific or shared. In comparison with traditional analogue video entry technology, the network using digital protocol allows easier system configuration without laborious or unusual procedures, even in the case of updates, which become extremely flexible and convenient. In this way Installation, commissioning and reconfiguration can be carried out easily and remotely, in complete safety, while the network is enabled.
Comelit video entry systems, installed in these flats, involve also the exclusive CALL LOG, a server device for recording, playing and storing video entry phone calls in order to contrast potential scams and break-ins. Thanks to this kind of “black box”, will be in fact possible recovering the received video calls and recognising the possibile attempt to access to the apartment block – a further and efficient security device for the protection of Uptown residents’ quiet.
Moreover, its system message connection interface allows the administrator of blocks of flats to change residents’ names on the external entrance panels and to directly send messages on the the home automation supervisor ICONA MANAGER.
